Job Description
A multinational cosmetics company is seeking a Sales Associate to play a vital role in the retail and wholesale sector particularly in Florida. This position is ideal for individuals who are enthusiastic about customer service and sales. As the first point of contact for customers you will assist them in finding the right products while ensuring an outstanding shopping experience. Your ability to engage with customers and understand their needs will contribute to both customer satisfaction and overall store success.
Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome customers and determine their shopping needs.
- Assist in product selection and provide detailed product information.
- Accurately and efficiently process sales transactions using the POS system.
- Maintain a clean organized sales floor and ensure merchandise is welldisplayed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales targets and store objectives.
- Assist with inventory management stock replenishment and stock counts.
- Stay informed about product details and industry trends.
- Support promotional activities and merchandising efforts.
- Provide management with insights on customer preferences and sales trends.
Qualifications
- 24 years of experience in retail sales or customer service with a strong background in cosmetic and beauty products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficiency in pointofsale (POS) systems.
- Strong customer service orientation and a customerfocused mindset.
- Basic knowledge of retail merchandising principles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced dynamic retail environment.
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong problemsolving skills to address customer concerns.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Effective time management and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new products and sales techniques.
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to build rapport with a diverse customer base.
