Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Managing Director Business Operations to oversee the daily business activities and drive operational excellence. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving efficiency optimizing performance and ensuring smooth of business processes across departments. This role requires a leader with strong business acumen exceptional problemsolving skills and the ability to implement innovative solutions for longterm growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Planning & Leadership

  • Develop and execute operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead crossfunctional teams to drive efficiency innovation and profitability.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to shape company direction and policies.

2. Operational Management

  • Oversee the daytoday operations of the organization ensuring seamless .
  • Implement best practices for process optimization and workflow efficiency.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance quality standards and adherence to company policies.

3. Financial Oversight & Budgeting

  • Manage operational budgets cost control and resource allocation.
  • Analyze financial performance metrics to improve profitability and sustainability.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

4. Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement

  • Establish and track KPIs to measure operational performance.
  • Analyze data and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Identify operational bottlenecks and develop solutions to mitigate risks.

5. People & Team Management

  • Lead mentor and develop highperforming teams.
  • Foster a culture of accountability collaboration and innovation.
  • Work closely with HR to recruit train and retain top talent.

6. Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with suppliers partners and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure strong supply chain management.
  • Collaborate with clients and customers to enhance service delivery.

7. Technology & Digital Transformation

  • Leverage technology to drive operational efficiency and automation.
  • Implement modern systems and tools to improve workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Operations Management Supply Chain or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in operations management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven track record in optimizing business processes and driving growth.
  • Strong leadership and decisionmaking capabilities.
  • Financial acumen and budget management expertise.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to lead change and drive digital transformation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Hungarian is a plus).
