We are seeking a Cloud Platform and Data Engineer with expertise in Machine Learning to design and implement AWS cloud solutions using services like EC2 S3 Lambda RDS and ECS while optimizing cloud resources for performance cost and security. You will develop infrastructure as code using AWS CloudFormation or Terraform collaborate with software engineers to deploy and manage platform services and microservices on AWS and ensure the high availability and reliability of platform systems. In addition you will build and maintain scalable ETL pipelines to integrate and transform data from various sources implement data storage solutions using AWS services like Redshift Glue Snowflake and Athena and ensure data quality throughout its lifecycle. Leveraging Databricks for scalable data processing and analytics you will also develop and maintain machine learning models working with teams to clean process and validate data for model training and implementing machine learning pipelines. As part of your role you will monitor system performance troubleshoot issues stay updated with evolving AWS data engineering and machine learning technologies and contribute to continuous improvement through code reviews and best practices.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Proven experience in
AWS cloud engineering platform engineering or a similar role.
Strong experience with data engineering tools and frameworks.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python Java or Scala.
Experience with machine learning tools and frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
Qualifications:
AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Big Data certification.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of big data tools and platforms (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
Handson experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
OpenShift experience is desired.
Spanish is a good plus.
