For our client a leading Irish food and convenience retailer in Co. Galway Ireland we are looking for an experienced Confectioner.
Candidate information/requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience working as a confectioner or a pastry chef in a bakery patisserie or a restaurant
- Strong culinary skills creativity and high attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- A good level of English is required
About the job:
- Permanent fulltime position
- If moving to Ireland from abroad you will be provided with two weeks of free accommodation. After that you would be paying around 400 800 € per month for a private apartment in the nearby area (utilities approximately 15 € weekly)
- Salary after tax in Ireland for this Confectioner position will be between 2.240 € to 2.364 € net per month 31.200 € to 33.280 € gross; before tax per year) for 40 hours per week
- Salary is paid weekly
- Your duties will be: preparing baking and assembling a wide variety of sweets including cakes and pastries decorating the sweets managing the inventory and ordering supplies and ensuring that all food safety and hygiene standards
