The Lead Bartender is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Founders Club ensuring an elevated guest experience that aligns with LQA and Fairmont brand standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Rotate between working behind the bar & tailoring a bespoke cocktail experience on the floor in a highvolume prestigious cocktail environment
- Adhere to Fairmont Olympic Hotel service standards
- Strive to create a memorable experience and the Grandest of Feelings for all guests; Ensure an elevated personal experience for VIP guests
- Be the face of Founders Club on certain promotional/media outlets
- Continuously work on improving product knowledge & technique sharing knowledge with the team
- Commit to one Admin/Prep Day per week (or as needed based on business volume)
- Contribute to Menu creation & staff training
- Perform opening and/or closing duties
- Maintain quality & consistency of the beverage program
- Ability to suggest coaching & disciplinary action for other Bartenders
- Control inventory of glassware bar tools drygoods etc.
- Perform EndofMonth beverage inventory
- Monthly spirit and bar 101 training conducted the second week of each month
- Owning recipe book and adjusting specs as needed
- Training new hires and barbacks
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Qualifications and Skills:
- At least 4year bartending experience preferably in a highvolume environment
- Luxury experience & knowledge of LQA standards preferred
- Strong knowledge of mixology techniques beverage trends and a wide range of spirits wines and cocktails
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a professional and friendly manner
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must hold valid authorization to work in the USA
- Food Handers Card and MAST permit required
- Availability to work evenings weekends and holidays
