ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis) is a rare fatal neurodegenerative disease characterized by the progressive loss of motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord. The onset of ALS is usually between the ages of 40 to 70 years with the average age at diagnosis being 55 years. Unfortunately the typical life expectancy following diagnosis is only 3 to 5 years.
The Associate Director Marketing Brand Lead ALS will play a critical role and be a visible leader within the Rare Disease Marketing Team and the broader US Organization. You will be responsible continuing the launch momentum in the US and establishing a strategic direction through analysis of insights and building and executing a strong tactical plan. In addition you will be tasked with engaging and supporting other geographies imparting key learning to accelerate exUS launches.

*This role is Hybrid based out of Cambridge MA and requires 3 days a week onsite
Qualifications :
7 pharma or biotech commercial experience; minimum 5 years of marketing with at least 2 years within the US market
Demonstrated ability to perform in fastpaced environments and influence without authority
Strong digital marketing experience
Field sales or reimbursement experience a plus
Excellent communication/coordination/interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively write and deliver executive presentations
Ability to rapidly identify key priorities align strategic and tactical plans and motivate crossfunctional teams
Preferred Skills
Rare Disease experience
Strong knowledge of the OPDP and US promotional environment
Additional Information :
The base salary range for this position is $161000$222000. Base salary offered is determined through an analytical approach utilizing a combination of factors including but not limited to relevant skills & experience job location and internal equity.
