Job Description
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician
Facility: 1555 Long Pond Rd Rochester NY 14626 USA
Contract: 13 weeks
Shift: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Pay Rate: $28/hr on W2 $30/hr on 1099
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
The Sterile Processing Technician is responsible for decontaminating inspecting assembling and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment according to hospital and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities:- Clean disinfect and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment.
- Assemble instrument trays for surgical procedures.
- Operate and monitor sterilization equipment.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure proper sterilization.
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and restock as needed.
- Adhere to infection control protocols and hospital policies.
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile processing.
