Job Description
We are hiring for multiple child care centers across British Columbia
Key Responsibilities:
- Creating a safe caring and engaging environment for children
- Planning and implementing ageappropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Supporting children s emotional social and cognitive growth
- Ensuring compliance with provincial health and safety regulations
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians about their child s progress
- Assisting with meal preparation cleaning and maintaining a tidy classroom environment
Requirements
Employment Requirements:
- Education: ECE Certificate/Diploma (required for educator roles) or relevant certification
- Certification: First Aid and CPR Certification (mandatory)
- Screening: Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Experience: Previous experience in childcare particularly with infants and toddlers is an asset
- Skills: Strong communication teamwork and problemsolving abilities
- Language: English proficiency required; French or other language skills may be an asset
