Job Description
This is a remote position.
- Assist in the contract process for securing design consultants general contractors and material suppliers i.e. Work Orders Service Orders and Statements of Work
- Identify potential suppliers analyze capabilities and analyze market trends economic conditions and industry developments to guide planning efforts
- Preparing RFPs and perform analysis of bids based on cost and qualifications from supplier submissions
- Interact with team members and crossfunctional stakeholders to answer requests
- Strategically resolve project issues by coordinating solutions at the team level when possible
- Facilitate supplier NDA s and supplier meetings
- Participate in and drive continuous improvement projects
- Collaborate with departments to align planning efforts and support business initiatives
- Provide analytical support to management helping them make informed databacked decisions
Requirements
This is what youll need:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Construction Management or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience
- Previous purchasing and buying experience
- Interest to grow knowledge in the theory principles and best practices of real estate development design and construction
- Strong relationship management skills to maintain professional communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently with little instruction and can adapt to change
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to details and deadlines
- Problemsolving attitude
- Actionoriented and solutiondriven
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Proficient in Google Suite a plus
- Experience with Coupa a plus
- Experience with Building Connected a plus
