Te Whiwhinga mahi The opportunity
We are looking for a selfdriven researcher with experience in microbiology and skills in immunofluorescence methods microscopy animal handling and in vitro and ex vivo disease modelling. Most of the time you will be working in the PC2 Infection and Immunity and Ophthalmology laboratories to test the therapeutic potential of this novel method. We encourage you to apply even if you dont have all the skills listed above as several trainings will be provided as required to the right candidate. Training relevant to laboratory safety and laboratory techniques will be provided before the commencement of experimental work.
This position is parttime role 23 days per week and fixed term for fifteen months with the opportunity to extend the position pending further funding. There will be a flexibility to decide working hours/days. Salary range is $62400 $77800 pro rata and depending on skills and experience.

You are a selfmotivated and selfdirected individual with excellent laboratory skills. You will have a university degree in BSc BBiomedSc or similar and preferably have at least 12 months of laboratory experience.
