You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Network Automation Engineer will be responsible to design implement and manage automation solutions for our network infrastructure. This role involves developing and maintaining automation scripts tools and processes and collaborating with crossfunctional teams to enhance the efficiency reliability and scalability of our network operations.
You will work in a dynamic collaborative environment setting of in the direction of DevOps and agile working
In detail your tasks include:
Automation Development: Design develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline network operations and reduce manual tasks working closely with network engineers system administrators and other IT teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
Service Management: Driving escalation and problem management processes coordinating complex incident and problem resolution with internal IT teams and external service providers with special focus on automations.
Network Management: Continuously monitor and optimize network performance through automation ensuring high availability and reliability. Implement and manage automated solutions for network configuration monitoring and troubleshooting.
Security Compliance: Ensure all automation solutions comply with relevant security standards regulations and best practices.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of automation scripts tools and processes.
Qualifications :
Academic degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications such as CCNA or equivalent.
Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Git CI/CD Pipeline etc..
Project management experience represents a plus.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in network engineering or a related role with a focus on network automation.
Skills:
Strong understanding of network protocols and configurations.
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python Ansible GO or similar.
Experience with network automation tools and frameworks and cloud networking (e.g. AWS Azure).
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in English both spoken and written.
Knowledge in agile frameworks ITSM processes and DevOps (automation infrastructure/configuration as code) is a plus.
