Job Description
Provides custodial and grounds services at the Hurricane Rest Area sites located on I64 in Hurricane WV. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Keeps all custodial and grounds maintenance tasks complete and uptodate.
Cuts and trims grass and shovels snow with equipment provided.
Monitor rest area grounds and pick up any liter.
Maintain janitorial equipment and supplies to ensure economical use.
Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays.
Cleans all sinks commodes and mirrors.
All other cleaning and maintenance duties as assigned.
Various shifts may include: 12hour shift weekends overnight shift.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or GED preferred and one to three months experience and/or training. Prior custodial experience strongly preferred.
- Must have ability to pass criminal background check.
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk.
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Judgment must be used if items weigh over 25 pounds.
- Must have reliable transportation.
