We are hiring 3 Team Managers on a 6 month FTC opportunity to join our Group Protection department.
You will proactively lead and develop a team to help them be the best they can be while monitoring and improving overall service to our customers and stakeholders. Demonstrating exceptional relationship leadership coaching and motivational skills.
You will work MondayFriday on a hybrid basis in our Hove office and earn a base salary of up to 43000 dependant on experience.
What youll be doing:
- Provides inspirational leadership by developing coaching and empowering people. Leads with a human touch by knowing and understanding their people as individuals to have an experienced engaged workforce. Measured through staff surveys and attrition
- Leads change with an agile mindset seeks feedback and ideas from their team acts quickly to move ideas forward involves transformation and SMEs and communicates clearly for change to be embedded smoothly
- Develops strong relationships with key stakeholders and customers using various communication channels being the face of GP Operations to ensure we keep schemes up to date and win new business
- Monitors day to day service to ensure teams are prioritising and managing their work and that we are delivering the best service to our customers as we can
- Protect our customers people and shareholders by ensuring that yourself and your team are complying with regulatory requirements and operational risk guidelines
- Proactively manages their own personal development to reach their potential and is capable and confident to support and deputise for their service delivery manager when required
- Analyse feedback from all sources to ensure that customers reasonable expectations of performance and service are met and good customer outcomes delivered. Where failings are identified provide information to management of relevant areas to enable changes to be made
- To manage the team in accordance with the Companys policies and procedures including the Partnership Agreement so that the teams business objectives are achieved consistently

- Group Protection/ Group Risk experience (Desirable) Product system and processes used with the business area Regulatory and operational risk awareness Understanding of HR policies and procedures
- Able to communicate with and influence colleagues at all levels adapting communication styles to suit the audience and messaging.
- Able to resolve and diffuse escalations and complaints through problem solving initiative and influence
- Able to form strong internal and external relationships. Can use a variety of coaching and leadership skills. Actively listens and understands customer/ teams needs
- Selfmotivated and uses own initiative Approaches challenges and problems with a determination to succeed Able to source analyse and act upon insight
- Leading teams either in a leadership role or deputising role. Helps lead change and is willing to work flexibly. Effectively plans their time and makes timely decisions.
