Job Description
Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water services including planning design permitting and construction phase services. As a summer 2025 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team you will perform meaningful handson realworld work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You will work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management floodplain management and scour and erosion control. Youll provide project design utilizing AutoCAD MicroStation GIS/ArcPRO HECRAS HECHMS or PCSWMM depending on the project. Youll assist with performing technical analysis preparing construction documents performing research and writing technical reports. Depending on the projects you may also have the opportunity to travel to job sites for field observation.

- Pursuing a bachelors degree in engineering (civil engineering or relatable)
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
