Job Description
Looking for an individual to perform both pilot plant operations and engineering research projects (both lab and pilot scale). Ideal individual would be comfortable in both a lab and pilot setting working on different scales of the process. In addition to the responsibilities listed below the employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.
- Plan and execute experiments on pilotscale equipment for plant protein extraction and purification.
- Collect samples conduct subsequent analysis record and analyze data and write scientific reports.
- Own & execute specific research projects to solve process related issues/optimizations.
- Drive all documentation maintenance including batch records inventory logs SOPs and JHAs.
- Ensure cleanliness and order in all areas of operation.
- Collaborate with R&D teams and applications team on relevant projects.
- Promote safety and continuous improvement practices.
Qualifications :
Experience:
- Bachelors degree (or masters) in Chemical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Lab experience critical and ability to design and execute experiments.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow complex operational instructions.
Requirements/Skills
- Experience and interest in mechanical piping electrical or other relevant trade skills.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Collaborative team mindset.
- Strong problemsolving skills in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to safety health and environmental (SHE) standards.
