Project Description:
The Fixed Access Rollout Orchestration (FARO) system is a cloud native software platform whose main task is the automation of business processes. FARO is based on a microservice architecture written in C# .NET. It provides process control (so called MissionScheduler) and connects to 3rd party systems in the environment of the processes (so called connectors). FARO itself does not initially contain any data but is merely an architecture that enables the automation and control of processes. A process in FARO consists of individual tasks. These are divided into automated tasks and manual tasks. Automated tasks are solved autonomously within the system and can only be monitored by the users. Manual tasks on the other hand require human activity which is performed via the web interface.
Activity description and concrete tasks:
As a Backend engineer you are part of a team which is responsible for process automization for fixed access network projects within Telekom Deutschland.
You will be part of an innovative and agile work surrounding where you will be implementing future oriented software solutions to manage and plan the hardware rollout for the fixed access network.
One of your key tasks will be implementing and improving traceability observability and stability of our growing microservice architecture.
Within our team you will be driving innovation by constantly growing and sharing your own expertise and giving constructive feedback during the whole development cycle.

Qualifications :
You have a degree in informatics or related
You have multiple years of professional experience as either a Fullstack Backend or Operations Engineer
You are proficient in at least one OOP programming language preferably C#
You have experience in containerization with Docker and Kubernetes
You have experience in configuring and developing monitoring tools like Grafana Prometheus and Dapr
You know about common best practices of software development like design patterns clean code TDD and git and are applying them naturally in your everyday work
You have proficient knowledge about microservice architectures preferably with .NET and Kubernetes
You are analytical and solution oriented
You are driven by a willingness to grow and are constantly pushing yourself and your team to try innovative ideas
You are thriving in an agile work environment
You are interested in telecommunication technologies
You are proficient in english german skills are a big plus
