We are currently seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Key Account Manager to join our team. This vital role will be responsible for managing key accounts within the Independent Grocery sector building strong relationships with clients overseeing account management and planning and driving the of promotional programs. The Key Account Manager will also play a pivotal role in negotiating trading terms ensuring compliance managing return on investment (ROI) analysis and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to support seamless instore .
Key responsibilities as a Key Account Manager you will:
Develop and nurture strong relationships with customers and clients ensuring longterm business growth.
Lead the achievement of distribution targets including the successful introduction of new product developments (NPD).
Plan execute and manage promotional programs ensuring effective communication and support to field teams.
Negotiate and manage trading terms ensuring full compliance and alignment with company objectives.
Oversee trade spend management to ensure effectiveness of promotional programs and activities driving maximum profitability and growth.
What were looking for to succeed in this role:
Strong experience in managing customer relationships and business operations within the grocery or retail industry.
Strong commercial acumen with P&L experience
Solid analytical skills
Exceptional organisational and time management skills with the ability to balance competing priorities.
Proven ability to negotiate and influence key stakeholders.
A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
A proactive approach to problemsolving with a keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
A commitment to driving both individual and team performance.
A solid understanding of company culture and an ability to be an advocate for it.
