Job Description
We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical IT Support/Network Engineer to join our team in Kumasi Ghana. In this role you will maintain and optimize our organizations network infrastructure while providing exceptional technical support to endusers.
- Design implement and manage LAN WAN wireless networks and firewall configurations.
- Ensure network security through monitoring configuration and troubleshooting.
- Install configure and maintain networking hardware (routers switches etc)
- Monitor and optimize network performance and reliability.
- Perform network assessments upgrades and disaster recovery operations.
- Provide firstline support to endusers for hardware software and network issues.
- Set up configure and troubleshoot computers laptops printers and peripherals.
- Assist in the deployment and configuration of software applications.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- 3 years of experience in IT support and network engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of network protocols including TCP/IP DNS and DHCP
- Proficiency in configuring and managing network hardware such as routers switches and firewalls
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
- Indepth understanding of IT security best practices
- Experience with virtualization technologies and cloud services (e.g. AWS Azure)
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network CCNA or MCSE are preferred
- Familiarity with IT service management principles and practices
