Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Growth Manager the Commercial Analyst is an exciting role responsible for providing crucial insights to support a new solution/venture at SEEK that is offering deeper solutions to support hirers in placing candidates in roles.
It is suited to an analytics expert who wants to be very close to the decision making action of a startup whilst benefitting from the additional resources support and opportunities of being part of the SEEK Group.
Key responsibilities
- Provide commercial analysis support to Sales Operational and Product teams
- Own dashboarding and analysis for business performance including using conversion funnels and being able to quickly drill down to identify key drivers of performance
- Own reporting on Sales team targeting and commissions
- Design processes that enable effective capturing of insights including CRM processes and systems
- Work in different ways from designing sustainable automated practices where needed to quickly running adhoc analysis manually for newer items yet to be fully implemented
- Work with teams across SEEK to ensure useful data and insights from other sources can be collates with our own insights for reporting.
Qualifications :
- A few years of experience in commercial analytics or analytical roles in Product Marketing Strategy or Commercial teams
- Strong analytical and commercial modelling skills (Excel proficiency is a must)
- Track record of delivering high quality analysis using less than ideal tools e.g. blending multiple data sources or heavy use of manual data validation
- A great problem solver with an interest in operational effectiveness and efficiency beyond commercial analysis
- Strong preference for those with experience in conversion funnels and supporting Sales teams.
