Job Description
Are you prepharmacy and want to get your foot in the door of pharmacy Or are you interested in starting a career as a Pharmacy Technician
Tasks may include but are not limited to:
- Packaging of medical supplies and medications
- Operating stateoftheart pharmacy robotic dispensing devices to package medications.
- Verifying and applying correct labels to appropriate patients package
- Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation throughout the day
- Unloading incoming medical supply deliveries and putting them away
- Manually filling products into sterile packaging (bubble packages bottles plastic bags etc.
- Other various activities assisting Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians in fulfilling medication packaging needs.
Qualifications :
- A current Washington State Pharmacy Assistant License is required. If you do not currently hold this license we will assist you in applying for your State license and we reimburse your first license).
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to maintain records
- Ability to package and label medications or related supplies
- Ability to operate labeling and packaging equipment
- Ability to bring a positive and professional approach to work each day.
- Ability to work in a team atmosphere and communicate effectively
- Ability to learn new tasks and apply them to daily duties
- Need to be well organized and reliable
