Job Description
We are hiring a Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs/LPNs) for one of our clients in Lubbock TX.
Job Description:
LVNs will perform complex nursing tasks under the supervision of the Unit RN and Nurse Manager ensuring high-quality patient care.
Requirements (Items below are required at the time of the interview):
- Valid Photo ID
- TB documentation
- Nursing license (Texas LVN)
- Current CPR card
- COVID-19 negative test result (we provide testing)
- Ability to pass urine drug screen and background check (you provide)
- Ability to pass FBI fingerprint background check (we provide)
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments
- Provide medication education and complete related documentation
- Deliver direct patient care under RN supervision
- Perform computer data entry (training provided)
- Must be experienced in advanced care skills including:
- Gastrostomy tubes / enteral feedings
- Foley catheters
- Tracheostomies
Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year of direct care nursing experience (2 years preferred)
- Must be licensed to practice in Texas
Work hours:
- Shift: 6:00 AM 2:00 PM
