T Security Engineer Checkpoint (Permanent Hybrid d occasional onsite presence)
We are looking for a seasoned IT Security Engineer to join a dynamic Global IT Security Team. In this role you will design implement and support cuttingedge security solutions helping to drive forward our global security strategy.
Tasks
- Contribute to developing and executing the IT Security vision aligned with our overall Security Strategy.
- Mentor junior engineers fostering technical growth and innovation within the team.
- Architect and implement complex IT Security solutions across global infrastructure.
- Monitor and maintain network security measures and controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
- Design and implement layered security approaches including network endpoint and cloud security.
- Provide 3rdlevel support for IT Infrastructure Security solutions.
- Analyze and gather requirements to improve processes and systems aligned with IT security best practices.
- Assist in defining and enforcing IT security policies and processes to protect enterprise environments.
- Support the creation of documentation training materials and security guidelines.
- Collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones to achieve shared goals and ensure project success.
Requirements
- Degree in IT Technology Data Business Administration or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT Security.
- Strong expertise in infrastructure security and layered security strategies (network endpoint and cloud).
- Relevant certifications (highly appreciated): CISSP CompTIA Security or similar.
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Indepth knowledge of:
- Network Security (e.g. Checkpoint Palo Alto Fortinet).
- Secure Internet Access Gateways (e.g. Checkpoint Harmony Perimeter81 Zscaler).
- Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) (e.g. Carbon Black Microsoft Defender).
- Identity Solutions (e.g. Okta PingIdentity MS Entra ID Radius).
- Cloud Security (e.g. Microsoft Azure Defender for Cloud Sentinel).
- Good knowledge of Endpoint Management (e.g. Microsoft Intune).
- Independent selfdriven personality taking ownership of tasks.
- Ability to mobilize teams drive collaboration and align on joint objectives.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Businessoriented mindset able to translate security requirements into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication skills capable of engaging diverse audiences.
- Proactive attitude willingness to learn and explore new technologies.
