Job Description
We are seeking an organized and efficient on Site Supervisor to join our team in Rocky River Ohio. In this role you will oversee the daytoday cleaning and maintenance operations of a school facility ensuring a safe clean and welcoming environment for students staff and visitors.
- Supervise and coordinate the janitorial team assigning tasks and ensuring efficient completion of daily cleaning and maintenance duties
- Develop and maintain cleaning schedules ensuring all areas of the school are properly maintained
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to identify and address maintenance issues promptly
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment placing orders as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Train new janitorial staff members on proper cleaning techniques and safety procedures
- Collaborate with school administration to address any specific cleaning or maintenance needs
- Respond to emergency cleaning situations as they arise
- Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities maintenance requests and inventory
- Implement and oversee energyefficient practices to reduce costs and environmental impact
Pay Rate $18.00 $20.00hr. depending on experience
Clean Criminal Background and Reliable Transportation required.

Qualifications :
- 35 years of janitorial experience in a school or similar setting
- 12 years of supervisory experience demonstrating strong leadership and team management skills
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures including the use of various cleaning equipment and supplies
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations related to school environments
- Proficiency in inventory management and scheduling
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and communication
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant certifications in custodial services or facility management (preferred)
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work evenings weekends and occasional overtime as needed
- Commitment to maintaining a clean safe and welcoming school environment
Must pass a BCI/FBI background check and reliable transportation.
