You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the supervision of the Head of PostProduction advertising services the role of the postproduction producer is multidisciplinary: he/she participates in the development of calls for tenders determines the best strategy and team casting all in collaboration with the Supervisor. VFX. He/she ensures the proper management of the budget and postproduction schedules for each project under his/her responsibility. He/she will be called to work with various departments depending on the projects.
Main responsibilities:
In collaboration with the VFX supervisor and the business development team participate in cost evaluation and development of bids for potential projects;
Establish deadlines and manage the calendar related to postproduction and visual effects;
In collaboration with various departments assign key talents to projects;
Delegate exact tasks to artists by keeping the Crew Planning up to date;
Communicate regularly with clients on the progress of projects and create a positive and collaborative working relationship;
Oversee the progress and efficiency of projects ensure full tracking of schedule and budget and ensure Shotgrid is up to date at all times;
Anticipate deadline and budget issues as well as changes at the request of clients that may arise; adjust quotes and schedules based on customer requests/additions;
Maintain regular communication with the production team on all important information relating to the project;
Conduct postmortem meetings identify areas for improvement and ensure all issues are addressed;
Actively monitor the work climate within your team and take measures to encourage and ensure the maintenance of a positive work environment and respect for company values;
Represent Rodeo FX positively within the VFX and related communities both locally and in the global marketplace to enhance the companys reputation as an industry leader.
Qualifications :
The person holding the position will work closely with our teams in Toronto and Los Angeles. They will also be involved in communications with our clients based around the world showcasing RodeoFXs technical and creative capabilities.
