Job Description

The Process & Maintenance Engineer ECU (TE/BE) is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the Electronic Control Unit (ECU) production processes. This critical role involves leading a team of local technicians and ensuring the efficient implementation of High Technology and highly automated Assembly systems for Automotive Safety Electronics Units.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Provide strategic leadership to a team of local technicians ensuring optimal support for ECU production operations.
  • Oversee the implementation and integration of Highly Automated Technologies for the assembly of Electronics control units guaranteeing seamless incorporation into existing production lines.
  • Develop and refine specialized software programs and mechatronics devices essential for the successful launch of new products with a focus on meeting stringent customer quality requirements minimizing costs and maximizing manufacturability.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous process specifications to ensure consistent product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Implement continuous performance improvement initiatives and cost reduction strategies within the area of responsibility driving operational excellence and maintaining competitiveness.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional and crosssites teams to address complex technical challenges and implement innovative solutions in ECU Assembly Semiautomated and Automated Systems relative to ECU production processes.
  • Ensure strict adherence to automotive industry standards and quality control measures throughout all stages of production in area of responsibility.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree: in electro mechanical electrical or electronic Engineering
  • Intermediate English 
  • Experience: 
    • In a high volume manufacturing environment
    • Machine diagnostic 
    • People management
    • Problem Solving methodologies
  • Knowledge
    • In Electricity Electronic and Pneumatic 
    • Programing (basic)
