About the Role:
Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee and manage the commercial and operational aspects of maintenance contracts. This role is crucial in ensuring service excellence financial performance and regulatory compliance while fostering strong client relationships and driving operational improvements.
Specific Duties & Tasks:
- Oversee the commercial and operational management of maintenance contracts ensuring high service delivery standards.
- Maintain and develop client relationships serving as the key point of contact for contract negotiations performance reviews and service enhancements.
- Implement strategic maintenance plans ensuring compliance with industry regulations health & safety standards and environmental guidelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to optimise service delivery across HVAC electrical and general facilities maintenance.
- Drive financial performance by managing budgets controlling costs and mitigating risks.
- Identify opportunities for contract growth and service optimization enhancing efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Lead and support engineering and maintenance teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Ensure all maintenance work adheres to regulatory environmental and safety compliance standards.
Skills & Expertise:
- Technical Background: Degree or equivalent experience in Mechanical Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- Facilities Management Expertise: Strong understanding of HVAC electrical systems and maintenance operations.
- Contract & Commercial Management: Proven experience managing FM contracts service agreements SLAs and KPIs.
- ClientFacing Experience: Excellent communication and relationship management skills with stakeholders at all levels.
- Financial Acumen: Experience in budgeting cost control and financial reporting related to maintenance contracts.
- Leadership & People Management: Ability to lead and develop teams within a maintenance environment.
- Compliance & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with health & safety regulations risk assessments and legal frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications in Facilities Management Engineering or Contract Management.
- Experience working within a hard services FM environment.
- Strong analytical negotiation and strategic planning skills.
