Development QA Tester 4 Month Contract

• Daily Testing: Conduct daily tests on features bespoke client development tools and early content using the Unreal Engine editor view. Participate in team meetings to understand requirements. 
• Test Cases and Plans: Support the creation and maintenance of test cases and plans generate software builds and manage bugs using Jira. 
• Regression Tests and Fix Verification: Perform regression tests verify fixes and support other critical development QA processes. 
• Collaboration: Work alongside client engineers to ensure the quality and stability of the games features. 
• Reporting: Report testing results to the QA Lead or QA Manager and continuously refine testing processes. 

Qualifications :

Core Skills

• Experience working on at least 1 to 2 previous games in a Game QA capacity. 
• Experience as an intermediate in Functionality QA Development QA testing or Certification QA. 
• General understanding of game development and QA processes. 
• Knowledge of QA processes related to gaming platforms (Xbox PS PC Nintendo Switch). 
• Proficiency in defect and test case management tools (e.g. JIRA TestRail Xray). 
• Knowledge or experience in compliance testing (Microsoft Sony Nintendo). 
• Testing experience on multiple gaming platforms. 
• Proactive and effective communication skills relevant to Games QA. 
• Excellent English proficiency. 
• Compatibility with the US Eastern Time Zone schedule. 

Desirable Skills

• Previous experience working directly with developers on a development QA team. 
• Unreal player in editor experience or game engine editor experience. 
• Credited AAA or AA game experience in Games QA. 
• Core gamer with RTS experience. 
• Certified Tester Game Testing (CTGaMe) or equivalent game testing experience. 

Soft Skills 

• Strong communication skills. 
• Proactive approach to work. 
• Flexibility to work with an international team and within specified time zones.
