Key responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 application support to internal teams ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Work with operational staff drivers and vendors.
- Engage in the design development and optimisation of platforms ensuring they meet the highest standards of reliability scalability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
- Implement best practices in platform development and support ensuring compliance with security and data protection standards.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to align platform development with business goals.
- Create and maintain technical documentation identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development and support processes and the teams technical skillset.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills the ability to communicate technical information both verbal and written to a wide range of endusers.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with a focus on delivering results.
- An understanding of operational practices and mobile devices is preferred.
- Ability to convey complex technical information clearly and effectively to users at all levels.
- Ability to foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Tertiary qualification in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or demonstrated experience.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
- A minimum of 3 years in a similar role with handson support experience including ITIL principles and experience using an incident management tool.
