Azure Cloud Engineer Sensia

Sensia is looking for a selforganized and experienced Cloud professional who can define implement and manage cloudbased systems within the Microsoft Azure cloud. The ideal candidate is experienced in Microsoft cloudbased technologies with a firm grasp of emerging technologies platforms and applications and ability to deploy them to help our business become more secure and efficient. Extensive knowledge of cloud maintenance advanced industry knowledge and effective performance / cost optimisation is key to the success of this role. From day one youll have an immediate impact on the daytoday efficiency of our cloud operations and an ongoing impact on our overall growth.

Duties
Functional
    Work with the business teams to understand their needs and to evaluate and identify and deploy optimal cloud solutions
    Optimising existing solutions for both performance and cost in accordance with best practices
    Educating business teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies
    Ensuring efficient functioning of data storage and processing functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
    Identifying analysing and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
    Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements
    Work with the Cloud Architect to define Sensias cloud strategy and standards
    Develop and deploy effective Azure cloud architectures utilising standardised deployment tools
    Execute the handson implementation of proposed solutions and provide technical guidance to teams during the solutions development and deployment phases
    Ensure adherence to architectural standards/principles global productspecific guidelines usability design standards etc.
    Collaborate and partner with parent company IT teams in accordance with agreed governance

Minimum Qualifications
    Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Technology or other relevant technical field
    Minimum of 3 years in a cloud engineering role using service and hosting solutions such as private/public cloud IaaS PaaS and SaaS platforms.
    Experience in architecting and designing technical solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure IaaS PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
    Knowledge of authentication (SAML/OAuth/OIDC) MFA and RBAC
    Knowledge of cloud security controls including conditional access policies tenant isolation encryption at rest encryption in transit key management vulnerability assessments application firewalls SIEM etc.
    Experience building and supporting mission critical technology components with Disaster Recovery capabilities
    Extensive realworld experience designing technology components for enterprise solutions with a focus on cloud technologies

Qualifications :

Desired Qualifications:
    Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Ansible Puppet Terraforms etc.
    Experience with relational graph and/or unstructured data technologies such as SQL Server Azure SQL Azure DataPMP / Agile certifications or experience
    Power Platform knowledge and experience in technologies like Power BI Power Apps and Power Automate is desirable
