Job Description

Roles and responsibilities


The Kids Club Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kids’ club, ensuring a safe, engaging, and fun environment for children. This role involves supervising staff, planning activities, maintaining safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service to parents and guardians.

Oversee and manage Kids Club Attendants, including scheduling, training, and performance monitoring.
Ensure all Kids Club Attendants adhere to safety guidelines and childcare protocols.
Maintain a positive, engaging, and inclusive atmosphere for children.
Plan, organize, and lead age-appropriate activities, games, and educational experiences.
Encourage creativity, teamwork, and social development among children.
Ensure all activities align with company policies and safety regulations.
Respond appropriately to emergencies, injuries, or behavioral incidents.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and health concerns.
Greet parents and children, ensuring a welcoming and friendly environment.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's experience and progress.
Address and resolve any parent complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
Manage inventory of toys, supplies, and snacks, reporting any shortages.
Overseeing Kids Club Operations
Supervision of Activities: Oversee and manage the daily activities and programs for children at the kids’ club, ensuring that activities are safe, fun, and age-appropriate. This can include arts and crafts, games, sports, swimming, movie sessions, or educational activities.
Staff Management: Lead, train, and supervise other Kids Club attendants and staff, ensuring they follow safety guidelines, interact positively with the children, and maintain a high standard of service.
Creating Schedules: Develop and manage the daily, weekly, or seasonal schedule for kids' activities, ensuring a variety of options are available that cater to different interests and age groups.
Maintain a Positive Environment: Ensure a welcoming, safe, and enjoyable atmosphere for children, ensuring that they feel comfortable and are excited to participate in the club’s activities.


Desired candidate profile

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Education, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in childcare, education, or a similar supervisory role.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
Creativity in planning activities that engage children.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for working with children.
Child Safety and Welfare
Ensuring Safety Protocols: Ensure that all children are being properly supervised, and that safety measures are in place for all activities, particularly those involving physical play, water activities, or outdoor excursions.
Managing Behavior: Address any behavioral issues in a calm and positive manner. Use appropriate techniques to maintain discipline, ensure children follow rules, and foster a respectful environment.
Health and Hygiene Monitoring: Ensure children’s health, cleanliness, and personal needs are taken care of (e.g., bathroom breaks, snacks, hydration). Monitor allergies or special needs and ensure any specific care instructions are followed.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to any emergency, medical or otherwise, and have the ability to handle incidents according to the facility’s safety protocols, including administering first aid when necessary.
