Job Title: ServiceNow QA Engineer with ATF

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer with a strong background in manual and automated testing to ensure the quality and functionality of our ServiceNow implementations and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working specifically with ServiceNow and 56 years of overall experience in software testing. You will work closely with development business and functional teams to validate solutions and ensure they meet the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design develop and execute test plans test cases and test scripts for various ServiceNow modules (ITSM ITOM ITAM etc..
- Perform functional regression integration and endtoend testing on ServiceNow applications including configurations and customizations.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure accurate test coverage.
- Leverage automated testing tools (e.g. ATF to build efficient testing processes.
- Test ServiceNow workflows catalog items scripts and UI policies to ensure that all implementations meet specified requirements.
- Perform API testing and data validation for integrations between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Identify track and report defects in JIRA or a similar bugtracking tool and ensure timely resolution.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and provide input on user stories and acceptance criteria from a QA perspective.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and help maintain the overall quality of the platform by contributing to continuous improvement processes.
- Collaborate with developers administrators and other QA engineers to create a test automation strategy for the platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 56 years of experience in software testing with at least 3 years dedicated to ServiceNow QA.
- Experience with ServiceNow testing tools such as Automated Test Framework (ATF) and familiarity with external tools like Selenium.
- Strong knowledge of various ServiceNow modules (ITSM ITOM ITAM) and ability to test both outofthebox features and custom applications.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
- Proficiency in defect management and test case management tools like ServiceNow JIRA TestRail
- Understanding of ServiceNow data models workflows and integrations.
- Solid experience in manual testing and the ability to transition to test automation.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
- Knowledge of Scripting languages such as JavaScript (for ServiceNow customizations) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified ServiceNow Administrator or Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist.
- Experience with Performance Testing and Load Testing for ServiceNow.
- Exposure to DevOps practices such as CI/CD pipelines.
