Job Description
We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a Quality Controller. The selected candidates main duties and responsibilities will consist of:
- Establish and implement the quality assurance procedures and systems required for the projects.
- Responsible for the ISO 14001 on environment on behalf of Mekanika reporting directly to the General Manager;
- Ensure that company third party accreditations are obtained and maintained (ISO 9001.
- Supervise the quality control functions/activities of the projects.
- Highlight and inform the project team and subcontractors about the contractual obligations and conditions.
- Create a mechanism to collect and maintain all records registers and relevant documentation.
- Liaise with the clients engineers to solve issues related to the quality of the installed systems.
- Assure timely and qualitative progress certification and final certification of works and projects in its entirety.
- Ensure all company procedures and work instructions are documented in a clear simple and concise manner.
- Assist in the preparation of tenders by providing management system related documents.
- Identify relevant legislative requirements.
- Control and maintain the company audit and risk assessment schedule.
- Conduct internal quality compliance audits.
Qualifications :
The ideal applicant for this post should have:
- Previous experience in quality control
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with quality control standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Be computer conversant in the use of Microsoft applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
