Admissions Counselor
About Us
Bloomingdale International School (BIS) is a leading educational institution committed to academic excellence and holistic student development. We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Counselor to guide prospective parents through the admissions process and support the schools enrollment goals.
Role Overview
The Admissions Counselor will be responsible for handling inquiries conducting school tours and assisting parents in the admission process. This role requires excellent communication skills a customerfocused approach and the ability to manage admissionrelated data efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Admissions & Parent Interaction
- Respond to admission inquiries via phone email and inperson meetings.
- Guide prospective parents through the admissions process ensuring a smooth and informative experience.
- Conduct school tours explain the curriculum and highlight key features of BIS.
- Assist parents in completing application forms and required documentation.
Followups & Enrollment Support
- Maintain a structured followup system for inquiries and applications.
- Coordinate with the admissions team to ensure timely communication with parents.
- Track enrollment status and update the admissions database accordingly.
Event & Promotional Activities
- Assist in planning and executing open houses admission events and orientation programs.
- Work with the marketing team to support promotional activities and campaigns.
Data Management & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries applications and admissions using CRM/ERP systems.
- Generate reports on admission trends and provide insights for strategic planning.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Any Graduate or Post Graduate
- Experience: Minimum 3 5 years in admissions customer service or a related field
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel Outlook) and CRM/ERP systems
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field. Teaching certification. Proven experience as a Primary Social science Teacher 1 - 3 years Excellent Communication Skills. Strong passion for education and fostering a love for Social Science in young learners Should have good knowledge of subject with good experience. Students handling skills in the classroom.
