Caspeco builds systems for the restaurant and experience industry. Our products consist of Booking Cash Register Staffing and Analysis. The company today consists of around 150 employees serving 2500 customers in an organization where decision paths are short every employee makes a difference and new ideas and initiatives are rewarded.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced senior developer to join our Checkout team. The team has full responsibility for our checkout and pointofsale (POS)solutions all the way from UX to the backend and storage. Were looking for someone who is not afraid of making decisions or challenging the status quo. The person will continuously work with UX and Product to help steer our technical solution to an architecture that makes us ready for the future.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain highperformance backend systems with a focus on serving our pointofsale and mobile pointofsale.
- Collaborate with frontend engineers product managers and data teams to create cohesive impactful solutions
- Design and implement REST APIs and microservices using Java/Kotlin
- Design and improve the observability of our system and services.
- Maintain high standards for code quality system reliability and security.
- Present plans and solutions to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
What Were Looking For
- Technical background with expertise in modern engineering practices
- Solid understanding of system design principles and distributed architecture enabling you to build scalable and reliable backend services
- You bring 5 years of experience in backend development with expertise in Java andKotlin
- Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes Cloud platform (Azure AWS GCP) CI/CD Event driven systems
