Role Overview:
This role is critical in managing and leading largescale Type I structural projects across various sectors including commercial healthcare education residential hospitality and aviation.
The Project Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and BIM designers managing project schedules and budgets and collaborating with architects contractors and consultants. This role offers significant opportunities for career growth including a partnership track.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion.
- Supervise project teams (engineers BIM designers) and ensure successful project .
- Work closely with architects contractors and clients to deliver costeffective innovative solutions.
- Ensure compliance with building codes seismic regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct technical design and detailing for largescale structures.
- Oversee project scheduling budgeting and resource allocation.
- Maintain strong client relationships and actively pursue new business opportunities.
MustHave Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of structural engineering experience (as close as possible).
- SE License: Required.
- Education: Masters degree or higher in Structural Engineering (U.S. university required).
Technical Expertise:
- Experience in Type I construction (steel and concrete structures).
- Experience with groundup construction 6070 and renovations 3040.
- Familiarity with Mission Critical Facilities.
- Proven ability to manage largescale structural projects.
- Leadership & Client Management:
- Ability to act as a strong decisive leader and manage a team of engineers and designers.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering successful projects and maintaining client relationships.
NicetoHave Qualifications:
- Experience working with DSA and HCAI/OSHPD.
- Experience in seismic evaluation and retrofit of existing buildings using ASCE 41.
