What Youll Be Doing:
- Manage a portfolio of customers developing strong client relationships and supporting their strategic objectives across both storage and transport.
- Act as the primary relationship owner for key customers ensuring they derive maximum value from our services.
- Drive retention and renewals ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities across Auckland
- Support the team in preparing costeffective transport and storage solutions.
- Ensure CRM systems and operational tools are fully functional for all customers.
- Communicate effectively with customers ensuring streamlined issue resolution.
- Escalate service delivery issues when required and drive process improvements.
- Leverage systems and data to support strategic initiatives and improve customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with Customer Service and Operations teams to enhance service quality and business performance.
- Develop an indepth understanding of competitors client bases and market offerings.
- Analyse financial results for each customer identifying areas for improvement.
- Build strong insights into transport companies operating in the chilled and frozen freight market.
- Ensure customer pricing is uptodate and reviewed based on demand and contracts.
- Prepare reports for the National Sales Manager tracking client gains/losses risks and opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of sales performance forecasting and marketing insights.
- Maintain customer data in the CRM system ensuring master data integrity
- Provide training for both customers and internal teams on online ordering systems.
Qualifications :
What youll need to be brilliant:
- 5 years of proven Account Management or Sales experience
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data.
- Excellent relationshipbuilding and communication skills.
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and growth.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools.
- A tertiary qualification in Sales Finance or a related field (preferred but not required).
Experience within a Quick Service Restaurant industry FMCG Transport Cold Chain or 3PL/4PL setting is advantageous.
