Tester

So what are the main responsibilities of a Tester in NetcompanyIntrasoft 

As a Tester you will be part of an Agile Software Product Development Team with a number of experienced Test Automation Engineers. Your everyday life will mainly consist of working in a highperforming Test Automation team being exposed to a wide variety of technologies and methodologies.

As a Tester you will:

• Contribute to the distribution of all Quality Assurance practices standards methodologies and metrics.
• Translate business requirements and specifications into test solutions that ensure the highest quality of the deliverables.
• Analyze design plan and execute strategies for all unit process function integration and acceptance testing for covering all software lifecycle phases.
• Design automation test plans scenarios scripts and/or procedures.
• Perform automation test ; mentor direct and monitor other testers in automation principles.
• Be responsible for partnering with project management to identify areas for improved testing efficiencies test automation and implementation of automated testing methodologies.
• Document test procedures to ensure repeatability and compliance with standards.
• Collect and report test results through various metrics reporting tools and communicating to key stakeholders on a regular basis.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role:

• University degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ICT sector; experience in designing planning and of software testing strategies will be nice to have.
• Solid knowledge of software development lifecycle for enterprise scale projects with Agile methodologies or TestDriven Development and continuous integration processes
• Handon experience in issue & project tracking tools (Jira and Atlassian product stack)
• Working experience with Automation Testing tools (JUnit TestNG Selenium Cucumber & Soap UI) and Defect Tracking Tools (Bugzilla).
• Knowledge of Java and/or .NET.
• Experience of SQL XML JSON SOAP and REST.
• ISTQB Foundation Level (or equivalent Certification) is nice to have.
