The Company
A leading global financial institution is seeking a LowLatency Java Developer to join its dynamic trading technology division. This firm is at the forefront of electronic trading innovation providing cuttingedge solutions for highfrequency trading and marketmaking activities.
The Team
You will be part of a highly skilled technology team responsible for developing and optimizing lowlatency pricing and trading systems. The team works closely with traders and quantitative analysts to enhance speed market connectivity and risk management strategies.
The Role
- Develop and optimize lowlatency Java applications for electronic FX trading.
- Enhance pricing hedging and market connectivity solutions for highfrequency trading.
- Work on multithreaded realtime systems with a strong focus on performance tuning.
- Implement FIX protocols and ECN connectivity for seamless market access.
- Collaborate with quants traders and IT teams to drive innovative trading solutions.
The Requirements
- Expertise in Java particularly in multithreading garbage collection and lowlatency optimizations.
- Experience in highfrequency trading systems preferably in FX or similar asset classes.
- Strong knowledge of FIX protocol ECNs and market data distribution.
- Proficiency in Linux environments networking 10GbE multicast) and performance monitoring tools.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fastpaced frontoffice setting.
