Job Description

A talented Year 6 Teacher is sought for a welcoming and ambitious school in Basingstoke to join their team in April 2025. The school is dedicated to ensuring that all students are given the support they need to achieve academic success and develop essential life skills.

Salary: MPS/UPS
Location: Basingstoke Hampshire
Start Date: April 2025
Contract Type: Fulltime Permanent

Your Role:

  • Lead a Year 6 class delivering inspiring lessons that prepare students for their transition to secondary school
  • Foster a growth mindset and encourage independent learning
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching strategies and learning outcomes
  • Support students in developing essential skills such as problemsolving resilience and teamwork

What We Need:

  • QTS and experience teaching Year 6
  • Strong classroom management and organizational skills
  • Passion for preparing students for their secondary school journey
  • Creativity in lesson planning and delivery
