About the Role
A prestigious Independent school in Barnet is looking for a Music Teacher to join their highachieving Performing Arts faculty. This parttime permanent position starts in April 2025 providing an opportunity to teach Music up to KS5 inspiring students in both classical and contemporary music.

Responsibilities
- Teach Music across KS3 KS4 and KS5 covering theory performance and composition
- Prepare students for GCSE and ALevel coursework supporting their artistic growth
- Guide students through instrumental training ensemble work and solo performances
- Work collaboratively to develop and enhance the Music curriculum
- Support extracurricular activities such as school concerts choir groups and band workshops
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Music Performing Arts or a related field
- PGCE or QTS
- Experience teaching Music up to KS5
