Music Teacher (Stoke on Trent)

Position: Music Teacher
Location: Stoke on Trent
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: Competitive based on experience

About the Music Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Music Teacher to join our dynamic team at a wellestablished secondary school in Stoke on Trent. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to inspire students across Key Stage 3 4 and potentially 5 teaching Music and performance.

As a Music Teacher you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons supporting student development and contributing to the overall academic growth of the department. You will be part of a collaborative environment where you can share ideas and innovate in your teaching practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver highquality Music lessons across Key Stage 3 4 and 5.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities including music clubs and school events.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for Music.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Previous experience as a Music Teacher at secondary level.
