Key Responsibilities:
- Clean kitchen equipment general kitchen areas dishes show kitchen banquet kitchen etc.
- Maintain kitchen to a high standard of cleanliness at all times.
- Assist with goods receival and storage of deliveries.
- Time permitting Assist with basic food preparation.
- Help unload deliveries and manage stock rotation.
- Dispose of waste and recycling maintain cleanliness.
- Provide general support to chefs and kitchen staff if called upon.
Qualifications :
Requirements:
- Experience required (kitchen / cleaning experience is a requirement). Minimum three shifts required
- Ability to work in a fastpaced physically demanding environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety (training may be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and teamwork skills.
- Take ownership of the kitchen areas and focus on a high level of detail cleaning especially in guest facing open kitchens.
- Flexible to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
- Good availability across the week.
- Selfdriven able to work without direct supervision at times.
- Team player who understands the common goal of cleanliness and hygiene.
