Job Description
Your IT Recruiter is helping our client find a highly skilled experienced System Architect to create detailed system architecture models and design specifications to guide system development and integration.
Were looking for candidates with strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks and proficiency in designing complex systems. The ideal candidate is selfdriven has excellent problemsolving abilities and exemplifies leadership qualities.
As a System Architect youll:
- Align system architectures with business goals and requirements.
- Evaluate and recommend tools technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform.
- Apply systems engineering principles and methodologies to analyze and solve system design challenges.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system designs and architectures.
- Design and implement integration strategies to ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to identify and resolve architecturerelated issues during the development lifecycle.

This is a fulltime 6month contract position staffed via our client. This role will be hybrid requiring 3 days per week onsite and is available to candidates local to the Ann Arbor MI area.

Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline
- 9 years of proven experience as a system architect systems engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of system architecture frameworks
- Working knowledge in the following:
- Python C architectural framework TOGAF attributedriven development modeling tools CATIA and Lucid
- Python C architectural framework TOGAF attributedriven development modeling tools CATIA and Lucid
- Proficiency in designing complex systems with a focus on scalability performance and security
- Experience with systems integration and interoperability practices
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Familiarity with interfaces such as REST DDS gRPC etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years as a system architect/engineer preferably in the automotive industry
- Indepth knowledge of software stacks in the automotive domain
- Understanding of typical E/E architecture and familiarity with standard vehicle architecture
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Certifications in architecture frameworks or cloud platforms

Basic Qualifications : BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field rom an accredited college in a related discipline, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree. Academic or professional experience using Java, C, C++, C#, Python, or similar programming languages Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Desired skills : Working on cross-functional teams (Hardware, Software, Integration/Test). FACE, Data Modelling and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) - Cameo or Rhapsody, SysML, DOORS, ICD/IRD/IDD. Design Assurance, System Verification, Integration & Test - test documentation and conduct, troubleshooting hardware/software. Strong verbal and written communication. Familiarity or Experience with any of the following: o Data Modeling o SWF/DDE o CPL and UoP development, FACE o Cockpit Avionics, DO-178 o Air Data Computer, AHRS Integration, Civil FMS
