Job Description

Job Purpose:
The Group Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will lead and manage the overall operations and strategic direction of the company in the property construction and engineering sectors. The CEO will be responsible for the growth profitability and market leadership of the organization while ensuring it adheres to governance standards shareholder interests and compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Strategy Development:
  • Provide visionary leadership to the organization inspiring and guiding the executive team to achieve corporate objectives.
  • Develop and execute the company s longterm strategic goals and annual business plans.
  • Ensure effective implementation of strategies and operational goals in alignment with the company s vision mission and values.
  • Oversee the overall strategic direction of the company s operations across property development construction and engineering sectors.
Financial Performance & Growth:
  • Drive the company s financial performance and growth by overseeing budgeting forecasting and financial management practices.
  • Maintain accountability for the company s overall financial health including profitability return on investment and cost management.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders including shareholders investors banks and financial institutions.
  • Ensure the company maximizes revenue opportunities while optimizing operational efficiency.
Operational Management:
  • Oversee daytoday operations of the company ensuring effective management and of property development construction projects and engineering works.
  • Ensure that the organization adheres to best practices in project delivery including quality cost control and timelines.
  • Implement operational processes and risk management strategies to ensure the successful of complex projects.
Corporate Governance & Compliance:
  • Ensure that the company operates with the highest level of corporate governance adhering to legal ethical and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Commission and other regulatory bodies governing the property and construction sectors.
  • Lead the company in maintaining strong internal controls and transparent reporting practices.
Business Development & Market Expansion:
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients partners contractors and other stakeholders in the industry.
  • Lead the company s efforts in business diversification mergers acquisitions joint ventures and other growth strategies.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication:
  • Act as the primary spokesperson for the company representing it to external stakeholders including investors regulators industry associations and the public.
  • Maintain positive and effective relationships with the Board of Directors ensuring timely communication on key developments and decisions.
  • Build and enhance the company s reputation through effective communication and public relations strategies.
Human Resources & Talent Management:
  • Lead the recruitment development and retention of key leadership and talent across the organization.
  • Ensure a strong organizational culture and work environment that promotes innovation employee engagement and performance excellence.
  • Encourage continuous learning development and succession planning for future leadership within the company
Sustainability & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR):
  • Champion sustainability initiatives including environmental impact reduction social responsibility and ethical business practices.
  • Oversee CSR programs and community engagement activities that align with the company s values and contribute positively to the communities where it operates.


Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Architecture Property Development Business Administration or a related field (Master s degree or MBA preferred).
Experience:
  • At least 15 years of experience in leadership roles within the property development construction or engineering industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior executive position ideally as CEO COO or Managing Director with a proven track record in managing a publiclisted company.
  • Experience in managing multimilliondollar projects and delivering results in complex environments.
  • Strong understanding of Malaysias property construction and engineering sectors including market trends regulatory environment and competitive dynamics.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of financial management corporate governance and risk management.
  • Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to make critical decisions based on datadriven insights and market trends.
  • Deep knowledge of the real estate and construction sectors including trends best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Proficiency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.
