Welcome to Motel
Our story began during a road trip in the 1990s where our founders Will and Andy travelled across America collecting vintage items while living out of motels. They started purchasing vintage clothing in the USA and selling it wholesale which eventually led to the creation of stores. From there they began designing reworked vintage pieces and thus Motel was born.
Over 30 years and a team of 200 people later every piece of clothing we make is created with the same spirit of fun freedom and adventure as the road trip that first defined the brand. Were still ambitious and independent but now were a global team we work from an operational base in Worcester a design studio in London and a creative studio in Bali.
The role
Our Influencer Outreach Assistants drive relationship management with key talent identifying opportunities for collaboration and ensuring weekly and monthly targets are met to sustain continuous opportunities for Motel.
Main tasks & responsibilities
- Complete endtoend relationship management with talent from initial outreach emails to processing contracts and payments.
- You will be expected to be organized and efficient and hit weekly and monthly targets
- Consistent evaluation of new and existing talent partnerships including always on identification of new talent ensuring we stay ahead of our competitors.
- Managing brand and content guidelines for all collaborations ensuring the content requested is on brand and to a high standard.
- Weekly and Monthly reporting to clients
- Ad hoc tasks which may require you to think on your feet
About you
- Organized and task oriented
- Trend aware
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A willingness to learn and work as part of a team
- Excellent at using TikTok with constant knowledge of whats trending transitions sounds and new features we could utilise.
- You will be working with influencers/clients placed all over the world and so responding to emails and communicating out of normal working hours is to be expected.
