Summary of Position: The Waitress role focuses on providing excellent customer service ensuring prompt food and beverage service and maintaining a clean and organized dining area. This position requires strong communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
The role will require the employee to;
1. Kitchen Assistance & Food Preparation
- Help with basic food prep tasks such as chopping vegetables assembling ingredients or preparing simple menu items.
- Assist chefs or kitchen staff in cooking or plating meals if required.
- Restock kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth workflow.
- Follow food safety and hygiene practices at all times.
2. Order Packing & Coordination
- Ensure all orders are accurately packed labeled and organized before they are sent out.
- Check each order for completeness accuracy and presentation.
- Work closely with the kitchen team waitstaff and delivery personnel to ensure timely dispatch of orders.
- Handle packaging materials efficiently to reduce waste and improve speed.
3. Cleanliness & Organization
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and packing area by following standard cleaning procedures.
- Dispose of waste properly and follow recycling and hygiene protocols.
- Organize storage areas for food containers and delivery items to improve efficiency.
- Sanitize kitchen tools and workstations regularly.
4. Teamwork & Customer Service Support
- Communicate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in resolving issues related to order mixups or delays.
- Adapt to fastpaced work environments and support other staff members as needed.
Requirements

- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is an advantage.

Experience and Qualifications:

- Basic math skills for handling bills and payments.
- Must be physically able to stand and move around for extended periods.
- A high school diploma or equivalent education certification.
- Previous experience in a kitchen food service or order packing role is an advantage.
