About the French Teacher Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated French Teacher to join our successful Modern Foreign Languages department. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach French across Key Stages 35 inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the French language and culture.
Responsibilities of the French Teacher:
- Plan and deliver highquality French lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
- Create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel confident to communicate in French and develop their language skills.
- Assess and monitor student progress in French providing constructive feedback and support.
- Contribute to the development of the French curriculum and departmental resources.
- Organise and participate in school trips and exchanges to Frenchspeaking countries.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of French teaching.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in French or a related field.
- Experience teaching French at the secondary level.
- A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for French.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for French and a commitment to inspiring students.
