Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Accounts Receivable Officer or as we like to call you an AR Control Specialist to manage our Out of Home business with exceptional customer service ability to be able to build relationships with a broad range of customers. You will be responsible for negotiations aged debt collections and managing a high level of overdue customers with the ability to problem solve creatively. This is a fulltime position based in our North Sydney head office working Monday to Friday with flexible starting times and hybrid working.
Are you up for this challenge 

In this role you will:

  • Manage debt for our Out of Home sales channels on a national level with a focus on following up on and receiving payments to overdue invoices.
  • Liaise with customers via email and/ or phone in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Utilise your exceptional AR skills to collaborate with our customers providing the ability to resolve issue and problem solve and reconcile payment issues.
  • Identify disputes with customers and escalate to relevant stakeholder.
  • Utilise Customer Service ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be able to work autonomously with support provided when needed.

Qualifications :

For this role as an Accounts Receivable Officer we are looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:

  • You are a proactive Accounts Receivable professional with at least 2 years continuous experience dealing with large volume of overdue customers.
  • High level of attention to detail
  • You hold at least 2 years of recent experience using SAP.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience in negotiations.
  • You have proven internal and external stakeholder management skills.
  • Intermediate MS Excel knowledge
