Manage and oversee the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for all employees
Ensure compliance with all payrollrelated legislation including tax laws UIF (Unemployment Insurance Fund) and other statutory requirements.
Review payroll reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
Ensure proper processing of deductions (e.g. pension medical aid tax garnishments).
Manage bonuses commissions and other special payrollrelated payment
Ensure compliance with SARS tax filings including IRP5 certificates PAYE and any other relevant reporting requirements.
Maintain and optimize payroll software and systems to ensure smooth payroll processing.
Lead a team of payroll administrators and assist with their training and development.
Provide guidance and support to payroll team members ensuring that all payroll functions are executed accurately and efficiently.
Grade 12
Relevant tertiary Diploma or Degree
Payroll management experience preferably in a large or multinational company
Strong background in using payroll software
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
