Job Description

Washington Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Openings!

As the SLP you will take the lead in developing individualized education plans and empowering students to reach their full potential. Collaborating closely with parents and fellow staff members you will play a crucial role in formulating effective strategies to diagnose and treat speech delays among your caseload. To fuel your professional growth further you will attend engaging Professional Development classes conducted by the esteemed school district.

Position Brief:
  • Deliver engaging studentcentered therapy sessions tailored to diverse communication needs.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential records of therapy sessions progress notes and IEP documentation.
  • Contribute to IEP development and participate in multidisciplinary meetings to advocate for student progress.
  • Provide training and guidance to educators and families on fostering communication skills at school and home.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate speech and language abilities and determine appropriate interventions.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment plans to support speech language and communication development.
  • Work closely with teachers parents and school staff to integrate effective communication strategies into daily routines.
  • Stay uptodate on best practices and advancements in speechlanguage pathology through ongoing professional development.

Requirements

  • Needs ASHA certification to be considered.
  • A Masters Degree in Speech Pathology or a related field is required.
  • Eligibility for or possession of an SLP license in Washington is necessary.
  • CFYs are welcome to apply and will receive dedicated supervision to support their professional development.
